branching out

a funny thing happened today..
i was browsing through some flannel at zumiez when on the other side of the rack i saw a pretty attractive fella with a friend. i saw him glance at me with my peripheral vision. then he comes around right next to me and looks through flannel shirts by my side. he says, "oh, i'm sorry" as if he were disturbing my shopping. i laugh inside, but can't think of something quick enough to respond with. after a few seconds he and his friend leave. i suck at quick witted conversations, or as my friend brigitte says, i need to "work on [my] branching out skills"

my dog does not like rain

next week my brother comes home. to his new home. i promise i will take more pictures when he is here and it is sunny! today is dark and rainy. now that the snow has melted i realized even the grass here is different.








i looked out and down of my window and wondered how those shells got there.
